Business Strategy Working Student (m/f/d)

We are building a new Group Strategy function and are looking for a motivated Working Student to help shape it from the ground up. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Group Strategy and gain hands-on experience in strategic planning. Your tasks will include supporting market and competitor research, assisting in building financial models, and helping to maintain tracking tools and dashboards.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful strategic decisions across different markets while developing your analytical and business skills in a dynamic environment.
Aufgaben

• Maintain a peer benchmarking tracker covering key competitors in each country
• Benchmark performance across the 10 banks of the group (key operational and financial metrics)
• Pull and structure data from annual reports, regulator publications and market data sources
• Research banking trends in south-eastern and eastern Europe (digital, SME, retail, regulation)
• Build and update financial models
• Maintain trackers and dashboards for key strategic initiatives across the group

Profil

• Currently studying or recently completed Bachelor or Master in business, economics, finance, or a related field
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Comfortable with core financial concepts, understanding of banking operations and financial metrics
• Structured thinking, attention to detail, proactive
• Genuine interest in banking or financial services as a career direction
• Prior internship in consulting, banking (FP&A, controlling, strategy) or audit of financial services companies (strong advantage)
• CFA any level passed (strong advantage)
