To strengthen our leadership team, we are looking for a Head of Marine, Vetting & HSSQE Department (m/f/d) to join us at the earliest opportunity.

In this key position, you will play a central role in upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance across our fleet, while leading a team of experienced maritime professionals.


Aufgaben
  • Ensure compliance with ISM, ISO, ISPS, and company HSEQ/HSSQE standards.
  • Maintain and develop the Integrated Management System (IMS), including audits and documentation.
  • Monitor and report fleet and company HSEQ/HSSQE performance to management.
  • Conduct safety and quality audits, lead accident investigations, and implement preventive actions.
  • Oversee navigational and operational safety across the fleet.
  • Support projects, tenders, and operations in HSEQ/HSSQE matters.
  • Represent the company during ISO audits, in interactions with clients and industry bodies (OCIMF, IMCA, etc.).
  • Review and implement HSE legislation across operations.
  • May serve as DPA, CSO, or EMR as appointed.

Profil
  • Master Mariner or senior officer with strong experience in marine operations and HSEQ/HSSQE.
  • Qualified ISM & ISO Internal Auditor and Company Security Officer (ISPS).
  • Solid knowledge of ISO, ISM, ISPS, and HSE regulations, classification, insurance, and ship management procedures.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Independent, systematic, and solution-oriented work style.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) and proficient in MS Office.
