Stepping into our IT department you will join a team of 4 dedicated employees within the IT Execution Applications Lab team that plays a significant role in supporting the current expansion of our IT lab capabilities.
You will report to the Manager of IT Execution Application.

As Application Specialist you will become the main driver behind the IT activities related to the equipment implementations and further development of the systems after the implementation.
In the next months we are going to implement many new pieces of instruments and equipment in our QC and R&D laboratories as part of our expansion of both our manufacturing sites in Kvistgaard and Bern and R&D in Munich. We are therefore looking for another Application Specialists to support the IT implementation and integration of new lab equipment with main focus on both validated and non validated lab equipment in our 2 labs in Munich.
Aufgaben
- Collaborate with laboratory equipment and system owners to define and communicate requirements to vendors
- Contribute to the acquisition and implementation of new equipment
- Support the implementation of application enhancements, new interfaces and system upgrades by contributing to prototyping, testing, documentation and training in compliance with our IT system validation processes
- Provide data and documentation to ensure seamless and compliant integration between lab equipment and LIMS
- Act as a point of contact for 2nd-level support, working collaboratively with super users and line managers to address application-specific system issues
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of standards and technologies in the laboratory equipment area, while providing IT support for related operational processes
Profil
We are looking for an Application Specialist to complement our team with expertise in one or more of the following areas: hardware and equipment installation, IT connectivity, Computer System Validation, and data integration with LIMS systems (e.g. SampleManager) and the following qualifications:
- Preferably 3-5 years of experience as an Application Specialist or in a similar role supporting qualified lab equipment and systems within a regulated industry
- Experience within GMP-regulated environments and equipment validation
- Good knowledge of Windows OS and IT infrastructure
- Fluent in both German and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
