Aufgaben
  • Development and synthesis of battery materials (electrolytes and electrodes) for calcium batteries, along with their comprehensive chemical and electrochemical characterization, and optimization of processes for upscaling
  • Manufacture of laboratory battery test cells and their comprehensive electrochemical characterization
  • Investigation and development of stabilizing interfaces and functional coatings for electrodes
  • Chemical and electrochemical characterization using NMR, XRD, SEM, potentiostatic and galvanostatic measurement methods, cyclovoltammetry, and impedance spectroscopy
  • Collaboration with project partners and other research groups
  • Publication of the research results in relevant journals and presentation at national and international conferences
  • Scientific supervision of bachelor's and master's students

Profil
  • A completed master's degree in chemistry or materials science
  • Ph.D. in chemistry or materials science
  • Experience with chemical synthesis, materials analysis using SEM/EDX, XRD, FT-IR, and NMR spectroscopy, and electrochemical investigations
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
