Internship Opportunity in AI/ML with Master Thesis Potential (m/f/d)

Join our Signaling Testing Division in München (Germany) at the earliest possible date. We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Development Intern to join our development team. This is a mandatory internship position for students currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python programming, object-oriented programming principles, and experience with source control tools like Git and ticket management systems such as Jira.
Aufgaben

- Collaborate with the research team on various AI/ML projects, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
- Design, train, and optimize AI models using frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze data required for training AI models.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of AI models to ensure performance and reliability.
- Document research findings, methodologies, and results clearly and comprehensively.
- Present research outcomes and prototypes to the team and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Profil

- Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; currently pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with a mandatory internship.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML theories, algorithms, and model training techniques.
- Proficient in using AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, with a strong emphasis on object-oriented programming.
- Previous professional experience in AI/ML is highly desirable.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with telecommunication protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
