The U.S. Mission in Germany is one of the largest U.S. Diplomatic Missions in the world, due in large to its vital geographical situation, its political, and commercial importance in Europe. The U.S. Mission comprises the Embassy in Berlin and five consulates in Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Leipzig and provides a wide array of services and support as well as playing a vital role in German American relations. The U.S. Embassy Berlin is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of IT Administrator.

In this position you are responsible for administering IT systems ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This involves providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, conducting system analysis and configuration management, and operating systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical issues.

Further responsibilities are in network security measures, conducting system audits for compliance, and educating users on information security best practices.

You have completed relevant studies and were able to gain experience in computer networking operations, network management or utilization of computer systems.
