Postdoc Position in Computational Imaging / Cryo-ET Reconstruction (f/m/d)
Fachhochschule Kufstein Tirol is highly pleased to announce the offer of a 12-month postdoctoral position in the field of Computational Imaging and cryo-electron tomography, starting with immediate effect.
The position is part of a research project in collaboration with Biohub. The goal of the project is to develop computational methods for deformation-aware reconstruction in cryo-ET. The focus lies on modeling and correcting local, non-rigid deformations in tilt-series data, in particular using compact differentiable representations such as Gaussian primitives, Gaussian Splatting, or related approaches.
