We are looking for a Student Assistant - Career Development (gn) part-time (20 hours/week), to start in September or October 2026. The successful candidate will join our Career Development team and support in providing career services for our students.

Applicant must be enrolled in either a Bachelor or Master's programme at a university in Berlin for the duration of the contract in order to be considered since this is an on-campus student job. We are especially looking for someone who can commit min. 1 year but preferably longer.


Aufgaben
  • Communicate with students and company partners via email and in person (e.g.: answering questions, information requests, writing newsletters, and sharing updates about career events/opportunities, etc.);
  • Support partner relations efforts to establish new and cultivate existing relationships with different companies and organisations (e.g.: government ministries, international organisations, NGOs, foundations, consultancies and the wider private sector.);
  • Day-to-day administration of our career platform (e.g.: posting jobs and events, support student and employer access, and updating resources.);
  • Organise and maintain data sets in Excel and support basic analysis/reporting, as well as running feedback surveys;
  • Coordinate our event management operations (e.g.: room booking, catering, communication with participants and trainers, etc.);
  • Prepare and update promotional and career communication materials (e.g.: posters/flyers and LinkedIn graphics/posts) using Canva.

Profil

Essential:

  • Enrolled as Bachelor or Master student in Berlin, with a minimum of one year left of studies but longer is preferred;
  • A self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Customer-orientated mindset;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Fluent in English (our language of instruction);
  • Min. B2 German (written and spoken communication with our German-speaking company partners).

Preferred:

  • Student of Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, or related field;
  • Interest in the topics of career development, recruitment, partner relations, and/or coaching would be highly beneficial;
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, customer service and/or administration or volunteering experience is promising (previous work experience is not essential);
  • Excel skills or knowledge is advantageous (training can be provided);
  • Canva and Typo3 skills are a bonus (training can be provided);
  • CRM experience is helpful (training can be provided).
