Working Student - Scholarship Administration (m/w/d)

The SOS Children's Villages worldwide Hermann-Gmeiner-Fonds Deutschland e.V. is an independent, non-denominational children's rights organization. With its headquarters in Munich and offices in Berlin and Düsseldorf, the organization has been supporting the global projects of SOS Children's Villages since 1963. 200 employees are committed to the vision of “For a world that lets you grow”. With almost 3,000 programs in over 130 countries, the organization offers help to children, young people and families in need through education, medical care and family strengthening. The focus is on strengthening the family, sustainability, children's rights and cultural sensitivity.

To support our Scholarships & Educational Development department, we are looking for a Working Student (20 hours/week).

• Review and verify submitted documents, such as transcripts and enrolment confirmations, for completeness and accuracy according to established criteria
• Maintain and update scholar records of academic progress and document submissions in relevant databases
• Identify and flag scholars who are repeatedly struggling academically or at risk of delayed graduation
• Schedule and coordinate team check-in calls with flagged students
• Provide general administrative support, including preparing summary reports on scholar status and maintaining communication records

• You are currently enroled in a university studying Education, Social Sciences, Psychology, NGO Management, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Accurate and reliable way of working.
• Experienced with MS Office.
• A proactive approach and ability to solve problems and suggest improvements.
• Structured, independent and responsible way of working.
• Very good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good knowledge of English and German.
